A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in sound waves produced by instruments like singing bowls, gongs and chimes. The goal is to promote deep relaxation, stress reduction, and mental clarity through the therapeutic use of sound and vibration.
Key Elements of a Sound Bath:
Passive experience: The event starts with some gentle movement and stretching to prepare you for stillness. During the sound bath, there is no need to do anything except listen and relax.
Vibrational healing: Sounds and vibrations interact with your body, mind, and heart.
Mindfulness/meditation: Often used alongside breathwork or guided meditation.
